Corncrake

The corncrake is more often heard than seen. Its lonely cry is no longer a common sound throughout Ireland, as its numbers have declined over the years. However, the Shannon Callows near the Celtic Roots Studio are one of the few remaining areas, where they flourish with the help of the IWCC and local farmers.
